Learning Support in Middle School
The Middle School Learning Support team serves as an integral part of the school’s inclusive community supporting students with a diagnosed disability.
We are dedicated to creating a welcoming learning environment that fosters academic success and addresses barriers to learning. The Middle School learning support team works in close collaboration with the Admissions Officer, general education teachers, administrators, parents, students and counselors to support the students in their regular education curriculum.
Students who receive learning support services must have an International Individual Education Plan (IILP) with a focus toward meeting individual goals. Services may include remedial and compensatory instruction, skill development, re-teaching and content support.
